Disability Rights:The Center for Disability Access (CDA - a DBA of Potter Handy, LLP) has represented hundreds of persons with disabilities who have been discriminated against on the basis of their disability throughout the State of California. We have been litigating disability access cases since 1996. There is no firm that has had a bigger impact on disability access law in the entire nation. CDA has an impressive list of pivotal, published opinions to its credit including numerous Ninth Circuit and California appellate court decisions. Recently, CDA successfully argued in front of the California Supreme Court and obtained a unanimous decision strengthening the rights of persons with disabilities under the Unruh Civil Rights Act. In fact, CDA does not charge clients in disabled civil rights cases.
