Ms. Masanque earned her B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of California, Irvine and received her J.D. from California Western School of Law where she graduated cum laude in 2012. During law school, Ms. Masanque served asan associate editor for the California Western Law Review and published “Progressive Realization Without the ICESCR:The Viability of South Africa’s Socioeconomic Rights Framework, and its Successin Its Right to Access Health Care,” in the law school’s International Law Journal.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Masanque completed an internship with the SSI-Disability department at the Legal Aid Society in San Diego. She continued to pursue her interest in serving the disabled community and subsequently joined Potter Handy in 2012. Since joining the firm, Ms. Masanquehas litigated hundreds of Americans With Disabilities Act cases in federal and state court. She remains heavily involved in the firm’s Americans with Disabilities Act practice and has successfully resolved dozens of cases on behalf of clients against both private businesses and public entities.
Ms. Masanque is admitted to the California State Bar, theUnited States District Court – Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California.
